A multi-brand manufacturer wanted to support two of their brands with separate campaigns and ad strategies. The manufacturer wanted one strategy to focus on promoting the launch of a new product, while they wanted the other strategy to focus on boosting awareness of an existing brand within their company.

## Driving awareness with Commerce Display and Sponsor Product ads
In order to accomplish both objectives, the manufacturer teamed up with Criteo who helped them launch two separate campaigns for each brand on metro.ca — the third largest grocer in Canada and one of Criteo’s biggest retail partners.

Both campaigns focused primarily on leveraging Criteo’s Commerce Display ads, which allowed the manufacturer to launch creative and engaging ad formats that generated product and brand awareness. Meanwhile, the campaigns also utilized Sponsor Product ads, which typically drive higher conversion and provide stronger return on ad spend.

## Exceeding category benchmarks
As a result of partnering with Criteo, both of the manufacturer’s brands saw their sales increase throughout the campaign. Their combined return on ad spend for the two types of ads was significantly higher than the category average. ROAS was **275%** for the Commerce Display ads and **873%** for the Sponsored Product ads.

Given these results, both brands have since moved to year-long campaigns.
